The Sinister Tunnel

Although it looks sinister, with the approaching figure looming out of the depths of the tunnel, it is not so. This is Greenwich foot tunnel opened in the Victorian era as way of crossing the Thames. The reinforcements at this point are the result of bomb damage in WW2.
